Tokek Win

Tokek Win is a hand-printing technique that directly applies patterns, images and text to fabric. Studio Tokek works exclusively with organic cotton and linen.

Edwin makes society’s fixation on virility hilariously heavy-handed, as when a tank of phallic sea mollusks is wheeled into a cafe where Ajo and his friend are seated; their eyes widen like Jeffrey Beaumont’s through the closet slats in Blue Velvet, as they stare at the ominous mollusks. Similarly,  tokek win  is given a guitar as a wedding gift, but he struggles to embrace its gentler sensuality. Like a self-protective reflex, he’s compelled back toward “conventional” masculine aggression.
